Restoration is a 1 day retreat with familiar faces from the Cursillo Community.  It’s a gathering of Cursillo alumni praying together, away from the world. And by their interaction during the Restoration weekend they are strengthening each other’s spiritual journey. They are not alone.

“Jesus summoned the twelve and began to send them out two by two and gave them authority over unclean spirits.” Mark 6:7-13

 Cursillo weekends are easy compared to life, your fourth day. The usual responsibilities, pressures and temptations of life begin the minute you walk out the door from a Cursillo weekend. The challenges and difficulties of the fourth day can separate you from God.

The Cursillo method provides the alumni with tools for a successful fourth day, such as small groups, ultreya, and school of leaders. These are guides for their fourth day journey with other Christians. “Never alone.”

A Restoration Retreat is just another tool to help the Cursillo alumni live their fourth day.

Be a friend and bring a friend back to Christ.

Remember, Christ is always counting on you!

What to expect:

A four-year theme rotation:

• Year one:  “Getting our Piety, Study and Action in Harmony”
  Year two: “God the Father” based on one of the seven petitions of the Our Father
  Year three: “Mary the Hand Maiden of the Holy Spirit”
• Year four: Did the saints use “Piety, Study and Action” in their lives?”

Reverse Palanca – Look outside yourself. As St Francis said, “it is better to give than receive.”

Around the clock Adoration – Keeping communications open to the Lord
